The writers I read the most. The writers who inspire my own. Those who indirectly mentor me through creating worlds and creative dialog.

The Voice of Gaming

Button mashing to detach from our cruel reality; a digital escape to an often crueler existence, it is lacking the consequences to leave scars. We are in charge of our destiny one HP at a time. In this world I am a mage a boss a hero. I fight for a cause beyond my imagination. It is the narrative and strategy that paves the way for the sublime, while Head shots and backstab be my weapons. XP is the addiction, these achievements run through our veins sweeter than blood. Noobs do battle to become brothers in arms, while the dishonest camp caves with their 8 party member farms. This is a culture tried and true, advancing beyond its moniker and expectations through and through. The epic transcends mediums, literature and film. I fight for a cause beyond what you may fathom. That which you perceive as sequential button mashing is the result of years of training. I utilize it to detach from my personal reality. How about you?
Lament of a Thespian
All I can think about is acting.
All I want to do is act.
Am I working hard enough to live off of acting only?
No, because I’m afraid of losing my day job and not being able to afford to live anywhere at all.
I am slim in the field of insecurities.
My only crippling insecurity is the fear of a lack of security.
Creative souls doomed to the work of the paupers…
I’m getting there, slowly. It’s hard to run without dirt under my cleats.
The only thing I can think about is acting.
All I want to do is entertain.
